Whole Wheat Chocolates Chip Oatmeal Cookies with Salted Time Caramel
Ohhhh hiiii. It's been a whirlwind past few weeks due to moving.
Personally i think horrible because I haven't had the opportunity to give the blog and composing the love it most definitely deserves.
For the present time, there's cookies though. And cookies are usually the solution when you don't even know what the question is. Specifically cookies packed with dark chocolate, oats, coconut taste along with a SALTED Time CARAMEL. Holy love of my entire life.
I seriously cannot cease eating these amazing, chewy beauties. They're filled with much better elements like coconut essential oil, whole wheat grains, oats, coconut glucose and that dark chocolate we all know and love. I'm not saying these are healthy, but I am stating that they actually provide a few natural, nutritious ingredients.

Also, all that chocolates = antioxidants. May as well believe that.
Probably with some PB too? I mean, obviously.

Ingredients
1/2 cup organic dark brown sugar
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 egg, at space temperature
3/4 cup whole wheat grains pastry flour or white whole wheat grains
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon cooking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 oz your favorite dark chocolate pub (at least 72% cacao), coarsely chopped
For the salted date caramel
8 Medjool dates, pitted
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, plus more if necessary
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, beat together coconut oil, brown glucose, coconut sugar, vanilla, almond extract and egg until well combined and somewhat creamy.
In a separate medium dish, whisk collectively flour, oats, baking soda pop and sodium. Add dry substances to wet ingredients, combining until a dough forms. Flip in dark chocolate chunks.
Roll cookies into 1-in . balls or use a cookie scoop and place on a large baking sheet, roughly 2 ins aside. Bake for 9-12 moments or until sides are slightly fantastic brown. Remove cookies from range and allow to cook on cooking sheet for a couple minutes before moving to a wire rack to finish cooling.


To help make the salted time caramel: Warm-up almond milk in a small saucepan until it's almost as well hot to contact (but don't boil it). Up coming place dates, almond flour in banana bread milk, vanilla and salt in the blender and pulse/mix until smooth.
You may need to add even more almond milk whether it's too thick to mix. Use your very best judgement. Try not really as well add an excessive amount of almond dairy because you don't want it soupy, but rather on the solid side.
Once your caramel is ready, you can place it in a small plastic ziploc bag and zip it shut. Press the caramel towards one bottom level corner from the bag and snip away a tiny part having a scissors (Congrats, you merely produced a DIY pastry bag!). Finally, press caramel over each cookie.
You almost certainly won't use all the caramel, so feel free to shop it in the refrigerator for weekly. It's great on toast, in oatmeal or essentially on anything that needs a little sweetener, like your espresso. Makes about 14 mid-sized cookies. Feel absolve to double the formula!

If you'd like thicker cookies, put in a few tablespoons more of oats.
It's important that the egg end up being at room temp otherwise it could seize in the coconut essential oil. Try taking the egg from the refrigerator and placing it at room temp. for about 30 minutes before you are ready to start making the cookies.
Feel free to sub 1 cup chocolate potato chips for the chocolates chunks.

Reduce the sugar (and save calories) within this recipe through the use of only 3oz of chocolates (or around 1/2 glass of chocolate chips). You can also try using raisins!

I usually produce my cookies wheat-free as my partner isn't very good with wheat and I generally tend in order to avoid it myself, so will try with an almond flour and sorghum mix! X
